Gonzalez Construction is a Kansas City-based company signature with the Carpenters, Cement Masons, Iron Workers, Labors Union, and Painters.

Alex Gonzalez was introduced to the construction industry and inspire by his Grandfather Gil at the age of 12 when he loved to work/help his Grandfather in his school time off. Alex's grandfather was a great craftsmen masonry/painter artist in his Commercial General Contractor company in Mexico City. 

In the 1980s Alex began work in the United States as a project manager and – by the early 1990s – owned his own construction business in the light commercial and very selected residential with self-performing concrete, plastering, tenant finish, and painting. In 1996 while working on a project in Lee’s Summit, Alex saw great potential in the construction industry in the KC area and moved the business from Columbia, MO. to Blue Springs. In the 2000s- While having his brother Orlando Gonzalez helping to run his business, he joins as a member the union local 518 and worked as a foreman for several major union companies to learn and prepare his firm for the large commercial/industrial sector as a union contractor until he ultimately formed Gonzalez Construction LLC in 2008.
